FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Vicky Pallis, Marketing Associate marketing@likno.com April, 2009 -- Likno Software is proud to announce the launch of the AllWebMenus Sliding Menu Add-in. Through the Sliding Menu Addin, AllWebMenus (DHTML Menu / JavaScript Menu Maker) adopts a new menu rendering ability broadening the spectrum of style, effects, use and functionality of your web menus. The user can create stylish menus with sliding submenus, otherwise known as "slide menus", "expandable menus", "collapsible menus" or "accordion menus". In a very user friendly way, the user can create web menus and set the submenu group to appear either as "drop-down" (non-sliding, standard menu mode) or as "sliding" (slide menu effect mode). If selected to appear as "sliding", the sliding submenu group will push the items of its parent group downwards when opening and in the same manner, it will pull items upwards when it closes. Settings for a specific sliding group can easily be defined, such as: - Appearance: Setting the display relative to "Left Bottom Corner of Parent Item", "Right Bottom Corner of Parent Item", "Center Bottom of Parent Item". - Item indentation: Setting the display indent to the number of pixels you prefer. - Margin: Setting the margin (top, bottom, left, right) of the group. - If a specified group is wider than its parent, then it can be set set to "shrink to fit" - If a specified group is narrower than its parent, then it can be set to "stretch to fit" Settings that which will apply to all sliding groups (menu-wide) can also be applied, such as: - The "Remember the menu state" (expanded/collapsed) option so that it is "applied" when browsing through different pages - For the page content to be pushed (or pulled) when sliding menus appear (or disappear). This option is effective only when you position your menu relative to an Element or Image (not Window) It is important to note that a user can have a menu that contains both drop down menu and sliding menu features. This Add-in is supported by (and pre-installed in) AllWebMenus DHTML/JavaScript Menu Maker build #766 and above.
