Cartoonist

Add a touch of humor to your photos with Cartoonist. Create caricatures easily.

Now completely free! Cartoonist is an image-editing tool letting you add a touch of humor to your digital pictures. This compact and easy-to-use program enables you to create sophisticated caricatures by warping images in a matter of minutes. The warp radius can be adjusted; depending on the radius, the result of distortion will be different. You can also change the background color that fills part of the image if you warp an area close to the edges towards the center of the image. The program lets you watch the result of each operation in real time, and undo any step at any time or jump to the original image in case you don't like the result. Cartoonist lets you load and save images in 3 different formats (bmp, jpg, png). The program also allows you to specify a different image quality when saving a file in jpg format and preserve EXIF metadata (information on the image such as date and time the image was taken, exposure time, ISO, focal length, etc). Whether you are a professional designer or a computer novice looking for some fun, Cartoonist will let you make the best use of your creativity or just relieve stress by warping images of your friends and celebrities! The program also contains a plugin for creating thumbnails of your photos for web galleries.
