Dynamsoft Barcode Reader for Windows

Dynamsoft Barcode Reader enables developers to expedite the creation of applications for the recognition of 1D barcode formats. Two editions, for Windows and Mac, are available. The Windows Edition provides C, C++, ActiveX / COM and .NET APIs. The Mac Edition provides C and C++ APIs. You can use the SDK in various development environments, such as Visual Studio .NET (C# / VB.NET), Visual C++, VB6, Delphi, Eclipse, Xcode, etc. The SDK enables you to efficiently embed barcode reading functionality in your web and desktop application using just a few lines of code. This can save you from months of added development time and extra costs. With the Barcode Reader SDK, you can decode barcodes from various image file formats (bmp, jpg, png & tiff). This includes from device-independent bitmap (DIB) formats which can be obtained from cameras or scanners. The supported Barcode types include Code39, Code93, Code128, Codabar, ITF, EAN13, EAN8, UPCA UPCE etc.

Changes: * New de-blur algorithm for 1D barcodes to improve the accuracy when scanning linear barcodes from out-of-focus, blurred images. * New multi-thread processing to improve the scanning accuracy of 1D barcodes. * Added new APIs

We are glad to announce that version 5.0 of Dynamsoft Barcode Reader SDK is now available. With our barcode SDK, you can implement barcode reading to your web, desktop and mobile applications using just a few lines of code.

Your product is targeted to end users. The end user application must not be another development tool designed to be used for creating other end user applications using the SOFTWARE. A user of any end user applications may not further use parts of the SOFTWARE for software development, copying or distribution. You must enforce this in a separate agreement with the user of any end user applications. For Evaluation License, you may use only one copy of the SOFTWARE at any time for each license. The SOFTWARE is "in-use" on a computer when it is loaded into temporary memory (i.e. RAM) or installed into the storage device of that computer. You may make a single copy of the SOFTWARE for backup purposes only. You are not allowed to expose directly or indirectly the properties and methods of the SOFTWARE. All rights reserved. You may not use, copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, sell, transfer, hire, lend or otherwise distribute the SOFTWARE or any accompanying materials in whole or in part, except as expressly provided for in this agreement.

THE AGREEMENT This document is a legal agreement between Dynamsoft Corporation., Canada, hereafter referred to as "Dynamsoft" and the user of the software herein referred to as "You". DEFINITIONS "SOFTWARE" means the software known as "ImageCapture Suite ActiveX Edition" and all its components, parts and documentation, which have been developed by Dynamsoft.
