In addition to iOS, Elcomsoft Phone Viewer allows viewing BlackBerry 10 backups produced with BlackBerry Desktop Software, as well as Windows Phone 8 and Windows 10 Mobile cloud backups downloaded from Windows Live with Elcomsoft Phone Breaker. iPhone backup viewer comes with a built-in multimedia gallery, enabling investigators viewing pictures and videos stored in the backup.The thumbnail gallery automatically splits files into categories, making it easy to discover which pictures were captured with the phones camera, synced via cloud, or received as messages or attachments.Full EXIF support enables mapping the location where the image was taken using a built-in Google Maps viewer. Elcomsoft Phone Viewer supports unlocked, unencrypted backups only.If you have an encrypted or password-protected backups, you will have to process it with Elcomsoft Phone Breaker to remove protection. The tool is completely stand-alone, and does not use any part of Apple iTunes or BlackBerry Desktop Software.

Changes: Elcomsoft Phone Viewer 2.0 adds support for cloud and local iOS 9 backups, introduces Media Gallery with full EXIF support and location mapping, and implements a large number of performance and usability enhancements. Searching and filtering now available for multimedia files.
