Dyad Games Live Streams Development of Flappy Defense Allows fans to weigh in on game Ideas and balancing. MANSFIELD, OH Aug. 5, 2015- Dyad Games, a small independent game studio, has announced a new title called Flappy Defense. Described as an over-the-top castle defence game with a "Flappy" thematic twist. "Epic Bosses, Special Waves, Tons of Upgrades & Unlimited Levels!" is how the co-founder Alex Montgomery describes the game after developing for 8 months straight. What"s the catch? A dedicated game development community has been watching his every move. Alex has been making games for a while, but this was the first time the game"s development was live streamed on popular streaming websites like Twitch.tv and Livecoding.tv. "It"s been a blast interacting with the community, having them give suggestions and invaluable Q&A testing." Twitch is mostly known for it"s gaming crowd, but there is a smaller community of game developers Alex informs. "I was always playing games on my Twitch account, but I realized Game Development was a game you could select on your personal layout. From that point on I decided I would stream everyday to get my game some backbone as I was working." Alex released Flappy Defense under Dyad Games and claims that the experience went over better than he could have imagined. "I thought I would get maybe a few people stopping in, but I managed to get over 400 followers over 4 months and had faithful viewers that would stop by everyday!" Alex goes on to say that viewers helped him occasionally with coding and testing the builds. "I cant wait to stream future titles and I love getting to know the passionate fans for game development!"
