License Agreement

  Please note that this agreement does not affect any license agreement
  covering the use of individual TrueType fonts. You accept sole
  responsibility for ensuring the legality of any TrueType font you use
  in conjunction with Fontrast. 

  Your use of Fontrast (the "Software") indicates your acceptance of the
  following License Agreement:


  Definitions:

    The "Author" is the author of Fontrast, C Bayliss.
    
    The "Website" is that operated by the Author, "www.hexforge.com"

    
    The "Software" refers to the program Fontrast and accompanying written
    materials (including instructions for use).


  You may:

    Use the trial version of the Software free of charge for non-commercial
    purposes, for a period of up to 30 calendar days from the date of
    initial installation.
  
    Copy and distribute the trial version of the Software, as long as no
    fee is charged to the recipient, other than to cover distribution
    costs.
  
    Purchase a license for the Software and become a registered user of the
    Software.
  
    At any one time, use on your computer(s) up to:
        1 instance of the Software if you have a single-user license;
        5 instances of the Software if you have a five-user license;
        Unlimited instances of the Software within a single company at a
            single geographical location if you have a Site license
    
  
    After purchasing a license for the Software, use the textures and data
    files generated by the Software for commercial or other purposes,
    provided that you are legally entitled to use the original TrueType font
    from which the textures were created.

 
  You may not:

    Rent, lease, modify, translate, disassemble, decompile, reverse
    engineer, or create derivative works based upon the Software or any 
    portion of it.
  
    Copy, distribute, or facilitate the distribution of the licensed 
    version of the Software.
    
    Illegally produce, distribute or facilitate the production or 
    distribution of licenses for the Software.
  
    Use the licensed version of the Software if you are not a registered
    user and not covered by a multi-user license.


  Term and termination:
  
    You may terminate this license agreement at any time by returning or
    destroying all copies of the Software in your posession and notifying
    the Author by email, using the contact details published on the Website.
    
    The license agreement will terminate immediately if you infringe upon
    the Author's copyrights or breach this agreement in whole or part.
  
  
  Disclaimer of warranty:
  
    The Author makes no warranty or representation, either express or
    implied, with respect to the Software, its quality, accuracy,
    merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. The Software is
    supplied "as is", and you, its user, assume the entire risk as to its
    results and performance.
  
    Neither the Author nor anyone else who has been involved in the
    creation, production or delivery of the Software shall be liable for
    any direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damages (including
    damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of
    business information, and the like) arising from the use or inability
    to use the Software, even if the Author has been advised of the
    possibility of such damages.
  

  Distribution:

    The trial version of the Software may be distributed unmodified
    provided any charge is to cover distribution costs only. The
    trial version of the Software may be placed on magazine cover CDs
    and the like, as long as the Author is informed in advance.
