KLONK Map Measurement released. Danish company KLONK releases a solid competition to Google’s measurement tools, called “KLONK Map Measurement". FAST & EASY With the tool it is possible to measure distances and areas on any place on earth, easily and fast. It can help you save time on your pricing process, by not having to visit the address in question, but simply getting measurements directly on your desktop. With KLONK Map Measurement you can measure easily and fast on properties, lawns, pools, lakes, paths, roads etc. on any place on earth. The developers have focused on creating a minimalistic design and emphasising the development on ease of use and a short learning curve for it"s users. MINIMALISTIC DESIGN With the app it"s possible to find a specific place on earth, and fast and easily measure areas or distances. When the application starts up, the latest used drawing method has already been chosen, and you can start clicking on the object which you want to measure. You find the place of interest by rolling to it, or you can enter the address in the search field. You can easily change the measurement type between area and distances. You can switch between imperialistic and metric measurements, and choose between different line colors and widths. It is possible to measure several different objects on the map, and it’s also possible to measure inside other measurements. It’s possible to reposition lines and areas, and also add and remove dots when drawing. You can reposition the map before or while measuring. We know that the need is there for this – many of our customers have been asking for this tool, says Product Mananger Christian Andersen from KLONK. It has been very important to make it even easier to measure with than the standard google measuring tools, which have a lot of other features implemented and can be used for many other purposes compared to KLONK Map Measurement. We have put a lot of effort to getting the drawing process just right. CONSTANT DEVELOPMENT The application will be under constant development with a customer need driven development process. After stabilisation of the beta version the following features are in the pipeline to be released within the next months : 1. Save and export specific areas and measurements to image files 2.
