KPassC

KPassC is a freeware software client for Linux and Microsoft Windows which deploys sophisticated encryption routines to securely store login credentials and textual snippet note-like data. It deploys a linearistic distance cryptographic (LDC) algorithm from the nullox standard library which is unicode compatible to compress and archive data securely using the mathematical properties it can extract from a simple textual key provided by end users. It is impossible to decode this data without the correct key thus third party recipients of ciphered data without the key cannot make any use of it. Too many passwords and too many logins just to protect our identities. We all have to struggle with the grind, we use to also until kpassc arrived. The metaphor behind kpassc is KeyPassCloud and when we began developing kpassc, we wanted a solution which allowed anyone to manage their credentials on multiple distinct operating systems, was simple and elegant for a novice to use and where back-end complexities were hidden. We wanted the option of instantly arriving on a computer, importing our data, to use and modify it and ultimately walk away from the same computer knowing no other individual could ever access the same data thus putting our identity and credentials at risk. KPassC facilitates our objective and with its cloud facility minimises the time required to import and export as changes made to the credentials remotely in real time are cascaded to other instances of kpassc running anywhere with the same cloud account.
