PeaZip is a free archiver and file manager software, Open Source WinRar and WinZip alternative. Create (compress to) 7Z, BZip2, GZip, PAQ, PEA, TAR, WIM, XZ (lzma2), ZIP files, SFX self-extracting archives, and spanned archives (001 split files) Open, browse and extract RAR, ACE, APPX, APK, ARJ, CAB, DMG, IPA, ISO, JAR, LHA, MSI, UDF, ZIPX files and more, handle 150+ archive formats Convert or consolidate existing archives (from any read-supported to any write-supported type), e.g .rar to .zip or .7z Focused on security and data protection, provides strong encryption with optional two factor authentication (encrypt with password and keyfile), encrypted password manager, random password/keyfile generation, secure data delete (files, folders, free disk space), verify multiple hash and checksum functions. Released as LGPLv3 software for Microsoft Windows (XP, Vista/7/8/10, 32 and 64 bit; ReactOS and Wine), Linux, and BSD systems - experimental Linux for ARM (ChromeOS, Android) version is available.

PeaZip 5.9.0 updates backend to 7z 15.12 (Windows) and p7zip 15.09 (Linux), provides out of the box RAR5 extraction and better installers for Linux, and improves file management tools (secure delete, free space erasure, file hashing).
