Smarter Battery

A utility that can monitor the battery of all portable computers. It is designed to read all data from the battery, to help prolong its life and save its energy. Also, it shows you the evolution of the battery's capacity during the charge / discharge cycles and computes a few important battery parameters, such as the wear level and discharge cycles counts. The Calibration and Fast Discharge functions were significantly improved. This program continuously reads the battery data, making a prediction of the time remaining. Two alarms, for low / critical battery capacity, can be triggered by the time remaining or by the capacity percentage. The evolution of the battery capacity can be graphically displayed for a longer interval, up to 16 hours, so a complete charge or discharge cycle can be easily visualized and analyzed. A battery gadget, having several format options, is also displayed by this utility and offers you a fast, clear view on the current battery's state of charge. The Power Plan selection is included in its menu, along with the Shut down, Standby, Restart, Hibernate commands. In conclusion, this is a must have, inexpensive, easy to use software tool that allows the maximization of your battery life and performance!
