Software Version Control is a software package that will help developers keep track of software changes of several projects at once or just one project. This package does not only track software but any binary file can be loaded in to the project to monitor changes. Retrieve older version of programs that no longer exist that have been deleted. SVC has no size limitations of the files that you want SVC to track. Microsoft Access 2000 (Jet 4.0) is the default installed database; the database (.mdb) is included with the installation. SVC can import any file of any size. exe, bat, cmd, bmp, pcx, jpg... The actual file can be for example 50GB and SVC will have no problem importing and keeping track this file. The only limitation is the back-end database systems used. SVC supports MS Access, MS SQL Server 2000 and Oracle 9i. (Support for more databases will be added when the database manufacturers systems become available. Almost any database can be used with our custom Connections that you can create to any database.
