TurboFTP Managed FTP/SFTP Client Updated with Open PGP Functions TurboSoft, Inc. is announcing release of its product TurboFTP V6.80, a powerful secure FTP/SFTP client and managed file transfer tool for Windows, now with Open PGP support. TurboFTP is a secure file transfer client that supports FTPS (secure FTP over SSL/TLS) and SFTP over SSH2. The new version comes with built-in OpenPGP functions which adds an extra layer of protection to secure your business data either in transit or at rest. It can encrypt/decrypt files, sign files and verify signatures with OpenPGP standard (RFC 4880). Through its key chain manager you can import existing compatible keys from other PGP software or you can create you own OpenPGP key using its key creation wizard. It also includes a compression/decompress utility for extracting and creating archives in Zip, GZip and TAR formats. The built-in Folder Synchronizer makes manual comparison and synchronization of local and remote directory contents a breeze. TurboFTP supports transferring files larger than 2GB (NTFS formatted partition is required). TurboFTP Sync Service, which is an optional module that comes with the product, offers an affordable and very reliable managed file transfer solution. It can run multiple scheduled tasks of file synchronization or Auto Upload simultaneously in a generic NT service, which starts automatically at system boot time, requiring no user-logon. The tasks can be managed by the built-in Task Scheduler. It can trigger various post-transfer actions, like calling an external program, feeding the transferred file name as parameter, sending an email when a task completes, etc. Sync Service also allows you to set up an Auto Upload Task, which watches a local folder and uploads added or updated files in the folder to a remote server; if a sub-folder is added, it will upload the whole sub-folder and will create the sub-folder on the remote server, too. TurboFTP Sync Service will relentlessly try its best to deliver your data in a troubled network environment and resume any broken transfer from where it left off. The Corporate version can automate OpenPGP file encryption and decryption in file sync process, i.e. it can encrypt files with OpenPGP before sending them to the remote server using a pre-specified key, or decrypt any downloaded OpenPGP archive if the needed secret key is found in the key chain. This version is fully compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1 and Windows 10. TurboFTP client runs on all versions of Windows Server from 2008 through 2016. The trial version is fully functional and has a 30-day limit. A single user license of TurboFTP GUI client costs from $49.95(US). TurboFTP + Sync Service Module costs from $278 per PC license.
