Typograf font manager

Using fonts and typefaces on computer was once very simple. There were a few TrueType fonts, and everyone used these, sometimes sticking with a preferred font, and sometimes changing fonts for different projects. These days, both professionals and home computer users find that they have downloaded a range of fonts and typeface styles. These can be located all over the computer, and are not always easy to find. Typograf from Neuber is designed to help users to locate the font style they need quickly. Available for users of Windows from XP to Windows 8 for a 30-day free trial, Typograf holds fonts for TrueType, OpenType, Printer and PostScript fonts in one place, along with a list of the properties, including designer and copyright. It collates your fonts into a database in groupings (or sets). The files are also listed with a description and illustration of the font, size, and any favourites that you choose to select. The program also checks for fonts, including duplicated typefaces on your PC or network, reducing the amount of space taken up by fonts. It will also show any keyboard changes which will affect how the typeface looks when entered into a document. New changes mean that users can also compare these fonts, allowing them to locate similar typeface styles, analysing which one is best suited to the current requirements. Typograf can also look for repeated fonts on DVD collections. If you are using the program in a network, everyone in that network will be able to see the same fonts, in the same groupings, meaning that you get uniform typeface across the board, and can also be previewed, with network users allowed to edit, create or load new sets through Windows. It is not even necessary to have the software on each computer, as all that is needed is a network connection. Typograf can also help you to copy, load or install fonts on the program, and will help users to find the right typeface for the work required, including matching fonts with one already used.
